Optimising Wood Packaging’s PPC Campaign for Customer-Centric Growth
Founded in 1992 by Tony & Mike Wood, Pontefract based Wood’s Packaging began as a humble family venture in a 200 square foot warehouse. Over the past 29 years, it has grown into one of the UK’s premier suppliers of packaging materials, all while staying true to its foundational principle: prioritising the customer.
In January 2024, Wood’s Packaging partnered with us to manage their PPC campaign and grow the volume of sales generated from their website.
What We Did
We embarked on a comprehensive analysis of Wood’s Packaging’s product range and identified seasonal trends in market demand. With this data in mind, we created targeted Shopping campaigns that were segmented by product category. This approach also enables us to allocate specific budgets that will grow visibility during peak times and conserve ad spend during quieter periods.
As our collaboration with Wood’s Packaging develops, we utilise Wood Packaging’s industry insights to refine the keyword strategies. Monthly consultations between their team and our Paid Media specialists allow us to refine our approach, continually optimising search terms for maximum performance.
Results
- Click-Through-Rate (CTR): Saw a notable 7.7% increase across all campaigns.
- Total Product Sales: Soared by an impressive 34.2%, signalling a robust rise in consumer engagement.
- Clicks: Experienced a 4.6% surge, reflecting heightened interest and visibility.
- Impressions: While witnessing a modest 2.9% decrease, this decline is strategic. By integrating hundreds of negative keywords, we refined Wood’s Packaging’s ad visibility, ensuring they appear exclusively in relevant searches.
- Conversion Rate: jumped up by an impressive 38.8%
