Website Re-design for British Wool in Bradford

British Wool previously had 3 websites that were aimed at different users so they made the decision to centralise all websites into one central site that was easy to use website and would represent their heritage, as well as ensuring that all users could easily access the information they need.

What We Did

Working with British Wool, we developed a comprehensive sitemap and technical specification document that detailed how the website would look, feel, and function.

The website re-design needed to cater more effectively with their key stakeholders and engage the four key audiences, these being farmers, consumers, traders, and ‘British Wool Learning’.

The website was developed to be accessible, simple, and easy for the user to find the relevant info across all platforms, together with having an easy-to-use CMS that allows British Wool to update information, events, and products.

Results

After having launched the website, British Wool have seen consistent improvements in traffic and overall user behaviour. Key consumer pages have grown in engagement month on month and new pages have increased in traffic quickly following SEO best practice. The overall site bounce rate has also significantly dropped across the whole site.
